It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Mae Drakeford of Camden, South Carolina, born in Kershaw, South Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Mingo and Ida Mae Massey Drakeford. She is survived by: her children, Tamara Anthony (Bernard) of Lancaster, SC, Alava D. Drakeford (Sharon Blair) of Camden, SC, David Drakeford of Camden, SC and Robert L. Drakeford (Kiah Harris) of Camden, SC; and her siblings, Robert Brown of Liberty Hill, SC, Mildred Mingo Cunningham of Lancaster, SC, Idell Mingo Ross (John) of Heath Springs, SC, Lydia Mungo Stover (Johnny) of Camden, SC and Novella Mingo Anthony (Herman). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren.
