He is survived by: his wife Harriett Carlos Brevard; his brother Ernest Brevard, Sr.; his children, Deirdre Brevard Smith, Marcia Brevard Wynn and Anthony Brevard (Angelia); his grandchildren, Ashley Shaw (Sidney), Jordan Wynn, Jeremy Wynn, Lauren Jackson (Devin), Brittany May (Branden) and William Brevard; his great grandchildren, Londyn, Kamryn Shaw, Isabella, Ruby and Jackson May; his sister Willie Mae Brevard; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Alexander, Gloria Caldwell (Clarence) and Marietta Giddens; his godson Bobby Engram (Deanna); his sons, Hough, Dr. James P. Smith, Rev. Gregory Smith and Horace Wynn; and his friend Lawrence "Tony" Williams.
