He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Henry and Maggie Amanda Klepzig Eckert; and his brother-in-law Leon Black. He is survived by: his siblings, Martha Black of Camden and Harold Ryder of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Timothy's Lutheran Church.
