He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Kate Holmes Marsh; and his parents, Charles Eugene and Orpha May Stein Marsh. He is survived by: his children, Jason D. Marsh (Kathleen) of Irmo and Jessica Pegram of Columbia; his grandchildren, Riley Pegram and Truth Draewell; and his close friend Judy King.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Humane Society of one's choice.
