He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Cornelius Allen and Ferg D. Allen "Ferrie"; and his sister-in-law Eva Sue Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Nell Geneva LaMay Allen; his son Doyle Allen, Jr. (Camden); his sister Shirley Ruth Allen Collins of Durham, N. C.; his aunt Maude Allen Boyte of Camden, S. C.; his niece Debi Gemmer of Camden, S. C.; his nephew Mitch Wilson (Carol) of Burleston, TX; and his extended family, Dr. Lee Thomas (Lucy) of Lancaster, S. C and Doyle.
