He was predeceased by: his father William D. Chivers, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Annie Pearl Chivers; his siblings, William "Bill" Chivers (Taunya) and Pamela Boykin (Keith); his nephews, Brian Chivers (Andrea) and Alexander Johnson; and his niece Bianca Chivers-White (Darryall). He is also survived by four great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be private by invitation only due to COVID.
