He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney David Ives Sr. and Mary Genuia Wingate Elliott. He is survived by: his son Grant Ives of Horn Lake, Miss.; his siblings, Charles Ives (Linda) and Rosa Ives Serralta; his grandchildren, Nicholas Kyle Ives and Casey Lee Ives; his great grandchild Lola Ives; his nieces and nephews, Lee McElveen, Joey Serralta (Alice), Heather Ives Dykes (Duane), Kristian Brett Ives and Robert Marion Sowell (Sandy); and his close friend Juliana Bradley.
