He is survived by: his son Christopher Ty Burns (Amy); his goddaughter Tina Catoe Ross (B. C.); his grandchildren, Kirstin Burns, Victoria Burns Hammond (Justin), Jessi Catoe and Taylor Leaphart (Diamond); and his great grandchildren, Rowen Hammond, Willie Catoe and Boeing Leaphart.
