He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Jones Sr. and Goldie Bryson Jones; his son Ronald Tony Perdue; and his siblings, Jenny Rabon, Monty Jones, David Jones and Marvin Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Faye Brown Jones; his children, Melody Jones Thomas, Wendy Jones Blair (Ron), Michael W. Jones (Terry) and Marvin Jones (Elizabeth); and his siblings, Linda Copeland (Tommy) and Robert Jones. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Second Chance Fellowship.
