He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walden and Florence Walden; his wife Nell Forbes Walden; and his sisters, Puckette W. Wooten, Grey W. Ritchie and Evelyn W. McDaniel.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sam C. Walden of Southern Pines, NC and Lany W. McDonald of Raleigh, NC.; and his nephew Stamp Walden (Laura) of Southern Pines.
