Boyd Black Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Boyd Black of Camden, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Boyd's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Boyd's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gideon Black and Elizabeth Yount Black; his brothers, Donald Raymond Black and Kendrick O'Neal Black; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Turner Black of Jacksonville, FL and Wayne Emerson Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Gregory Black; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Hamilton (Gordon) of Columbia and Susan Holspberg Gregory of Union. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church (1206 Lyttleton St, Camden, SC 29020).
