He is survived by: his daughter Renee Elizabeth Davis O'Neil (William) of Silver Spring, MD; his brother Francis Lee Davis of Bishopville; and his stepchildren, Douglas Jeffers of Louisville, KY, Deborah Jeffers of Maryland, Scott Simpson (Jennifer) of Fairfax, VA and Shaun Simpson (Mary) of Florida.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Mizpah Baptist Church (3659 Jamestown Rd, Camden, SC 29020). Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
After completing his military service, he embraced his passion for engineering, embarking on a successful career as a civil engineer, where he made significant contributions to the field.
