She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland James and Nann Lee Wilson Barnes; her brothers, Billy Barnes, Milton Barnes and Larry Barnes; her aunt Katie Mae Wilson; and her friend Debbie Brown.

She is survived by: her husband Johnny Lev Gaines; her children, Sandra Lee Dixon of Camden, Michelle Newman Williams (Trey) of Camden and Boyd Eugene Parker III of Camden; her stepsons, Chris Gaines (Mandy) of Anderson and Charlie Gaines of Anderson; her siblings, Roland "Buddy" Barnes, Joey Barnes, Eddie Barnes and Sara Roberts (Earl); her grandchildren, Hope Gaines, Dylan Dixon, Jensen Williams, Riley Gaines, Evan Williams, Colton Gaines, Charleston Parker, Abbey Gaines and Boyd Parker IV; and her great grandchild Luke Townes.

Memorials may be made to KershawHealth Hospice.
