She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Thurman and Mazie Gerald Hardwick; and her sister Jeanette "Teny" Hardwick Ross. She is survived by: her husband Charles Douglas Elliott; her sons, Mitch Douglas Elliott (Lori) of Daniel Island, SC and Shawn Hardwick Elliott (Summer) of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Becca Elliott of Columbia, Courtney Elliott of Charleston, SC, Maddyn Elliott of Columbia and Max Elliott of Columbia; and her sister Doris Hardwick Miller of Lancaster, SC..
