Allen Harvey Upchurch Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen Harvey Upchurch of Camden, South Carolina, born in Eutaw, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepfather John "Alan" Brookins; his brother James "Jim" Upchurch, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Karen Boomer. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Upchurch (Auburn University); his daughter Julia Marsi (John); his granddaughters, Leona Marsi and Vivian Marsi; his parents, James "Babydoll" Upchurch and Sherry "Shereia" Bozeman Brookins; his sisters, Dana Stewart (Glenn) and Reia Martin; his stepsiblings, Nathan Sims (Catherine) and Krystal Kornegay (Craig); his siblings-in-law, Lisa Chaffman (Jim), Sunshine Jordan, Michael Boomer (Heidi), David Boomer and Joel Boomer (Lori); and his mother-in-law Sylvia Crews. He is also survived by 28 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
