He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Reeder, Sr. and Ethel Brazell Reeder of Augusta, GA; and his sisters, Kathleen and Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Helen "Joanne" Pettus; his children, Sandra Reeder Hornsby, Robin Reeder Nettles, Dennis Reeder (Ruth) and Brent Reeder (Emily); his grandchildren, James Hornsby, Jr., Aaron Nettles (Andrea), Matthew Nettles (Kristin), Phillip Nettles (Sarah), Katie Cooper (Mitchel), Thomas Reeder (Lauren), Ben Reeder (Alex) and Caroline Reeder; and his great grandchildren, Natalie Hornsby, Molly Hornsby, George Nettles, Walter Nettles, Ryland Nettles, Palmer Nettles, Riggs Cooper, Annabelle Cooper and Weezie Reeder.
While flowers are gratefully accepted, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
