He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Johnson and Syble Moss Johnson; his brother Larry Johnson; and his granddaughter Nicole Newton. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Wiley Johnson; his children, Mike Johnson (Shelley) of McCormick, Kristi Newton (Johnny) of Lowndesville, Craig Brown (Fran) of Calhoun Falls, Robbie Jo Hanna (Daniel) of Lowndesville and Cody Johnson (Kristin) of Abbeville; his brother Ricky Johnson (Carolyn) of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Matt Johnson, P. J. Johnson, Abby Campbell (Xavian), Addison Saylors (Seth), Slade Brown, Sydney Brown, Deric Hanna (Katie), Lexie Hanna, Scarlett Johnson and Cora Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Vada Campbell and Evie Campbell.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (526 E Savannah St, Calhoun Falls, SC 29628). Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
