With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ashmore of Calhoun Falls, South Carolina, who passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ashmore Sr. and Jannie Reed Ashmore; his siblings, William Charles Ashmore, Mattie Allen, Geraldine Smith, Martha Murray and Ruth Dawson (Clement); his stepson John Baskin; and his brother-in-law Roosevelt McCullough.
He is survived by: his son James Christopher Ashmore of Calhoun Falls; his siblings, Fred Ashmore Jr. (Nancy) of Calhoun Falls, Evelyn Gray (Henry), Ida Hudson (Willie) of Calhoun Falls, Marie McCullough of Greenville, Barbara Crawford (Frank) of Abbeville and Sarah Boyd (George) of Watkinsville, GA; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Allen, Willie Smith and Reynolds Murray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
