She was predeceased by: her husband William Leslie'Bigfoot'Ellis; her parents, Clinton Junior and Gaynelle Rucker Bonds; and her grandson Andrew Cade. She is survived by: her children, Rev. John C. Ellis (Sunshine) of Calhoun Falls, Leisa Ellis Ulrich (Michael) of Statham and Angela Bonds Cade of Calhoun Falls; her grandchildren, Johnathan Ellis (Amelia), Will Ulrich, Anna Grace Griffin (Austin), Zach Ulrich, Noel Martin (Josh), Marcus Bonds (Jodie), Felicia Martinez (Jean) and Adriana Cade; and her pet Sam. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel (526 E Savannah St, Calhoun Falls, SC 29628). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
