With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cleveland B. Hill of Calhoun Falls, South Carolina, born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Colie Burriss and Frances Hill Burriss; his siblings, Marion Burriss, Danny Otto Burriss and Betty Jo Simpson; and his grandson Josh Newton.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hill; his children, Beth Newton (Richard) and Jamey Hill (Cheryl) of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Renee Newton, Justin Newton (Sarah), Carly Scott (Dusty), Caitlin Hill and Jake Hill (Ally); his great grandchildren, Ava, Gabe and Jackson Scott; his siblings, Doug Hill, George Burris (Tina), Lib Addison (Jerry) and Claire Higgenbotham; and his pet Buster.
