He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Carlisle, Sr. and Mattie Lee Parnell Carlisle; his son Steven Ray Carlisle; and his siblings, Dorothy Carlisle, Gene Carlisle and Lander Carlisle.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Monroe Carlisle of Wesley Commons; his daughter Linda C. Purdy (Boyd) of Hodges, SC; his brother John Robert Carlisle of Lyman, SC; his grandchildren, Amber Wilson (Jason Wilson) and Andrea Hobson (Patrick Hobson); and his great grandchildren, Steven (Erica), Brady and Ellison.
