He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Michael Hilley and Grace Varner Hilley; and his siblings, Cleo, Thomas, Rob, Roy, Weaver, David, James Hilley, Berda Mae Wheless and Mary Emma Fowler.
He is survived by: his children, Auby Mike Hilley of Winston Salem, NC, Patrick Hilley of Key Largo, FL, Roy Steven Hilley (Deborah) of Winston Salem, Robin Hilley of Calhoun Falls, Sara Hilley (Lynn) of Leesville, SC, Jessica Baker (Jason) of Wagener, SC and Travis Hilley of Warrenton, VA; and his sister Jewell Scott of Calhoun Falls. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
