It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William R. Owens of Cades, South Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William R. Owens to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruford William Owens and April Cox Owens; and his sister Elizabeth Owens Johnson (Libby). He is survived by: his daughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth Owens; the parent of his child Laurie Matthews Owens; his pets, Gigi and Bentley; his siblings, Rusty Owens (Sherry) of Cades, Kenny Owens of Cades, Arnette Irving of Goose Creek and Dianne Pierce of Cades; and also Xena. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591).
