She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald G. Smith, Sr.; her grandson Charles Lloyd Kittrell, IV; and her siblings, Gerald Baker, Kenny Baker, Ray Baker, Coralynn Baker Moore and Juanita Baker Askins.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald G. "Jerry" Smith, Jr. (Mary Ellen), Janet Smith Kittrell, Jeanne Madden (Rudy Oglesby) and Jack Smith (Debby); her grandchildren, Sherry Smith Goff (Brad), Jerry Smith (April), Lynn Kittrell Montjoy (Chris) and Jared Madden (Kaare-Ann); her great grandchildren, Kelsie, Kade Smith, Lauren, Austin Montjoy, Aureilya, Tavis Madden, Katherine Smith and Sinclair Smith; her sister Libby Baker Parker; and her pet GiGi Mrs.
