She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Jeter and Maggie Jeter; and her husband Emanuel Rice Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Rice, Manuel Rice, Jr. and Nelson Rice; her son-in-law Tommy Ray Thomas; her children, Carol Thomas of Buffalo, SC, Shirley Young (Melvin, Sr.) of Union, SC, Steven Allen Rice of Seattle, WA, Larry Wayne Rice (Patsy) of Auburn, GA, Paul Darryl Rice, Jeffery Scott Rice (Deborah) of Gaffney, SC and Anthony Gerard Rice (Wonda) of Columbia, SC; and her grandchildren, Marlon Thomas, Aquita Rice, Melvin Young, Jr., Corey Thomas, Kevin White, Damien Rice, Timothy Rice, Rodrick Young, Erica Hall, Shawn Rice, Antoinette Rice, Camisha Rice and Courtney Rice. She is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Saint Luke Baptist Church (718 Lukesville Rd, Buffalo, SC 29321). A burial will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at the same location.
