She was predeceased by: her parents, Mac O'Shields and Bernice Owens O'Shields; and her brothers, Mac O'Shields Jr. and Roger O'Shields. She is survived by: her husband Billy Palmer Jr.; her children, Christopher Palmer (Erica) and Misty Palmer (Jamie); her siblings, Larry O'Shields (Mary), Tim O'shields (Mary) and Kay Grady (Hugh); and her sister-in-law Martha O'Shields.
