With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Bowers of Brunson, South Carolina, born in Hampton, South Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulis Cleborn Terry and Josie Maud Bowers Terry; her husband William L. "Billy" Bowers; her sons, Francis Burrell Broxton and James Cleborn "Cleby" Broxton; and her siblings, Josephine Simmons, Iva Lee Gooding, Buddy Terry and Joe Terry, Sr..
She is survived by: her grandsons, Bradley Cleborn Broxton of Beaufort and James Gregory Broxton of New York; her stepson William Knight "Bill" Bowers of Brunson; and her sisters, Betty Wall of Allendale, Evelyn "Clem" Sullivan (Harry) of Fairfax, Daisy Ann Croft (Wade) of Brunson and Linda T. Roberts (Rodger) of Brunson.
