He was predeceased by: his father Eddie Cox; and his siblings, Wyman Cox (Libby), Terry Cox, Marilyn Faye Rittenberry (Zan), Patricia James (Clifton) and Sandra "Gale" Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Lunette "Lucy" Richardson Cox of Britton's Neck, SC; his daughters, Laura Cox (William Bamberger) of Britton's Neck and Lisa Cox Hulit; his son-in-law Henry Hulit of Britton's Neck; and his pet Fred Cox. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, family and friends.
