He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest G Atkinson and Carrie R. Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Jaronie Woodbury Atkinson; his children, Dawn E. Atkinson of Marion, SC, Renee A. White of Atlanta, GA and Robert G. Atkinson (Dana) of Florence, SC; and his brother Francis Marion Atkinson (Marlene) of Conway, SC.. He is also survived by Six Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren.
