He was predeceased by: his parents, James Miller and Perniece Miller; his children, Sharita Hunt and Bobby Miller; and his sister Josephine Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Thomasina Miller; his children, Vernon Miller, Jr. (Catherine), Natasha Miller, Lakenya Miller and Erica Miller; his grandchildren, Isaac Miller, Shaniya Hunt, Lydell Elmore, Navar Elmore, Indira Hammonds, Thomas Miller, Zykheem Stokes and A'Kasha Moore; his great grandchild Alaya Miller; his siblings, Joan Jeffrey (Keith), Salley Miller and Joseph "Tommie" Miller; his uncle Glenn Miller; and his brother-in-law Johnny Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
