He is survived by: his children, Bridgette Sanchez (David) of Hardeeville, SC, Billy Dempsey (Melanie) and Tony Dempsey (Kim) of Branchville, SC.; his grandchildren, Wesley Sanchez (Heidi) of Beaufort, SC, Josh Sanchez (Dena) of Hardeeville, SC, Celeste Bean (Michael) of Richmond Hill, GA, Ashley Dempsey (Darin), Michael Dempsey (Stephanie) of Bluffton, SC, Amanda Dempsey and TJ Dempsey (Brandi) of Sumter, SC.; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Emily, Lizzy, Olivia, Annabel, Mary, Wyatt of Nolan, CJ, Conrad, Abel, Rosalynn and Adalynn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Edisto Baptist Church Cemetery (4831 Edisto River Rd, Branchville, SC 29432). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
