He was predeceased by: his parents, Legrand Hughes and Virginia Hughes; his brothers, Legrand, Jr. and Jody Hughes; and his brother-in-law Willie Knight.
He is survived by: his friends, Hank and Brian; his sons, Hank Hughes (Pam) and Brian Hughes of Bowman; his grandchildren, Steven Hughes, Magan Perian (Cody), Chandler Hughes, Taylor and Ashton Bates; his great grandchild Lilyan Allette Hughes; his sister Judy Knight of Neeses; and his close friends, Jordan, Amanda Johnson of St. Matthews, Office Manager and Kathy Hutto of Springfield. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
