She was predeceased by: her parents, Heyward Harriott and Carrie Chesser Harriott. She is survived by: her sons, Ted McAlhany and James McAlhany; and her grandchildren, Tabitha Minus, Ted McAlhany, Jr., Mindy McAlhany, Brandon McAlhany, Bryan McAlhany, Digeo, Alejandra McAlhany, Crystal McAlhany, Joshua McAlhany, Johnathan McAlhany, Mike and Terry McCoy. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
