It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Shuman Wimberly (Branchville, South Carolina), who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd W. Wimberly; her parents, Harry Shuman and Lillian Shuman; and her siblings, Bert Moore, Dolly Coleman, Pearle Weeks, Dixie Benton, Betty Shuman, Allen Shuman, JC Shuman, Billy Shuman, Harris Shuman and Pete Shuman.

She is survived by: her stepmother Belle Shuman; her children, Harry F. Wimberly (Reka) and Hazel W. Looper (John Reid); her grandchildren, Donnie Looper (Lisa), Chad Looper (Amanda), Thad Wimberly (Jennifer), Beth Berry (Jonathan), Eddie Easterling (Teresa Zeigler), Mark Easterling (Renae), Meranda Reid and Rebecca Rodriguez (John Michael); her great grandchildren, Tyler Looper (Dana Fogle), Chandler, Cayleigh Looper, Harrison, Benjamin Wimberly, Anna Win, Sawyer, Amelia Berry, Brooke Easterling, Jonathan Easterling (Annsley), Brantley Mims (James), Hannah Azzarelli (Bryce), London Reid, Logan and Isabella Rodriguez; and her great great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Evelyn Looper (Evie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
