She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Clifton Garrick and Annie Naomi Garrick (Bennicker); her husband Julius Edward Kizer Sr.; her son Julius Edward Kizer Jr.; and her sister June Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Clifton H. Kizer "Wendy" of Gainesville and Sherri K. Owens "Monty" of Branchville; and her sisters, Valerie Fogle and Linda Odell. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
