He was predeceased by: his parent Horce Leroy. He is survived by: his parent Annie Mae Hart Brooks; his daughter Sharon Mendoza (Mario); his siblings, Kathren Lyerly of Callison and Wayne Brooks of Callison; his son Johnny Brooks; and his brothers, Barney Brooks, DeWitt Brooks, Edison Brooks and Grover Brooks.
