He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Easterlin Weathers; his parents, Oscar Lowman Weathers of Bowman and Winnie Wannamaker Weathers of Bowman; his granddaughter Abby Nelson; his son-in-law Robert M. Nelson III; and his siblings, John Robert Weathers, George Allen Weathers, Mary Lee Weathers Huff and Ruth Alphine Weathers Floyd.
He is survived by: his children, Sonya Bennett (John) of Bowman, Julie Nelson of Bowman, Michael Way (Ann) of Bowman, Wesley Way (Lynda) of Florence and Matthew Way (Aleisa) of Vance; his grandchildren, Betsy Murphy (Josh), Paul Bennett, Anne Adams (Travis), Richard Way, Philip Way, Bryan Weathers (Sims), Derek Weathers (Julie), Bryan Way (Nathalie), Brooke Moore (Dylan), Emily Nelson, Dillon Way and Dakota Way (Clare); and his great grandchildren, Aiden McDaniel, Landon, Brantley Gibson, Murphy, Brody Way, Wesleigh Way, Bowen Moore, Abby, Rylee, Harper Weathers and McCoy.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Bowman Southern Methodist Church, P.O. Box 217, Bowman, SC 29018.
