He is survived by: his wife Cathy Bloodworth Varn; his daughters, Farah Lee (Tim) and Jenna Smith (Jay); his grandchildren, Carmen Burgess (Aaron), Phillip Lee, Aidan Collins and Adam Smith; his great grandchild Lennon Burgess; his sister Shirley Chesser; his sister-in-law Penny Cochran; and his nephews, Eddie Chesser, Scott Chesser, Jessie Cochran (Ashley) and Curt Bloodworth. He is also survived by fur baby, "Sophie" and a number of great nieces and great nephews and additional family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wightman Methodist Church (7215 Charleston Hwy, Bowman, SC 29018). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
