He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Snell and Lunett Jackson; his wife Mary Blanche Sanford Snell; and his son Shannon J. Snell. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Snell (Debra) of Bowman and Travis Snell of Holly Hill; his grandchildren, Jenny Mims (Eric), Trista Files (Jayme), Alisha Snell, Donna Powell, Coby Snell (Tori), Tristen Snell (Alivia), Santana Snell and Chris Thompson (Brandi); and his sister Carolyn McWhorter of Texas. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.
