It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Lynn Rast of Bowman, South Carolina, born in Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sanders and Mattie Dell Linn Sanders; her husband William Rast; and her son Robert L. Rast. She is survived by: her son Walter "Guy" Rast, Sr. (Beverly) of Arizona; her grandchildren, Lori Gardner (Mary) of Virginia, Walter "Guy" Rast, Jr. (Zandra), Melissa Rast, Jennifer Rast (Chuck), DeeDee Rast and Coty Nix; her great grandchildren, Kira Webber, Hayden Webber, Makayla Webber, Gavin McCoy, Joseph Rast, Jase Rast, Natalie Rast, Bailey McCoy, Hailey Pinola, Will Pinola, Chloe Pinola, Carter Lamb, Astrid Lamb, Noah Nix, Navadine'Banuelos and Nia Banuelos; and her sisters, Ann Matheny (Danny) and Debbie Crider (Johnny). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and additional family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bowman First Baptist Church (6605 Charleston Hwy, Bowman, SC 29018). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
