He was predeceased by: his parents, George Weathers, Sr. and Gladys Shuler Weathers; his wife Ruth Weathers; his children, Dr. Susan W. Floyd and George W. Weathers, III; and his siblings, Lawrence Weathers and Virginia Thompson.
He is survived by: his son James "Jimmy" D. Weathers of Bowman; his grandchildren, Stacey Walter, Dr. James Floyd, Dr. Scott Floyd and Adam Weathers; and his son-in-law Dr. Lane Floyd. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
