David DeWitt Gurganus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David DeWitt Gurganus of Bowman, South Carolina, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2022 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse "Buddy" Gurganus, Jr. and Lillie Inabinet DeWitt Gurganus; his grandparents, Maggie Lou, Connor DeWitt, Sallie and Jesse Gurganus; his son Corey Savage; and his sister Angela Leigh Gurganus.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Price, MD; his sons, David DeWitt Gurganus, II (Kelly) and Jacob Michael Gurganus (Morgan); his grandchildren, Bryce, Callie Gurganus and Surya Thieker; and his siblings, Connie Darden, Sallie Pope (Randy) and Jesse A. Gurganus (Lisa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the spread of COVID-19 the family will hold a private memorial service.
