She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur Watson Weathers, Sr.; her parents, Thomas Carter Riser and Nell Weathers Riser; her brothers, Thomas Riser and William "Bill" Riser; her son-in-law George Carn; and her sister-in-law Peggy Guinn Riser.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Weathers Carn and Wilbur Watson Weathers, Jr. (Anne); her grandchildren, Kristi Carn Ott (Curt), Lee Ann Carn Altman (Jon Fowler), William Watson Weathers, Jr. (Melissa) and John Rouse Weathers (Molly); her great grandchildren, Leah Wilson (Brody), Wesley Ott (Ashton), Gunnar Altman, Zoey Weathers, Kate Weathers, Watson Weathers, Amos Weathers and Henry Weathers; and her sisters, Virginia Bowes and Mary Lou Faulling (Francis). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
