It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald J. Russell of Bonneau, South Carolina, born in Highland Park, Michigan, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe B. Russell and Thelma Kunkel Russell; his siblings, Larry W. Russell and Gail M. Ultz; his sons, Ronnie J. Russell (Taylor) of Bonneau and Cody L. Russell (Sarah) of Summerton; his former wife Sherry Cook Russell of Summerton; his grandson Rowan Russell; and also Medway Plantation. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial Fund.
