She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Cooper and Louise Keller Cooper Mann; her brother Lloyd "Dumpy" Cooper; and her son David Wilbur Mitchum. She is survived by: her husband Pat; her children, Patrick Mitchum, Jr. (Early) of Bonneau Beach, Mike Mitchum (Sylvia) of Bonneau Beach, Shirley M. Gesling (Joe) of Summerville and Mary M. Ponds (Robert); her grandchildren, Jennifer Simmons, David Patrick Mitchum, Ryan Cobb, Matthew McCants and Rachael Poitras; and her great grandchildren, Josie Hulett, Omari Simmons and Anaya Simmons.
