He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Morast and Marion Tucker Morast; and his siblings, William Morast, Matthew Morast, Harold Morast, Alice Skeels and Helen Luvara.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Hartman Morast; his daughters, Judy Morast-Morin (David) of Moncks Corner, Kathy Driggers (Gerald) of Goose Creek and Lisa Halter (Andrew) of Goose Creek; his sisters, Marion Burger of Adrain, MI and Geraldine Watkins of Hudson, MI; his grandchildren, David Morin, Jr., Nick Morin, Amy Garvalia (Paul), Lindsey Brown (Steven), Adam Halter (Lillie) and Brett Halter (Lyndsay); and his great grandchildren, Colton, Sullivan, Reid, Amelia, Olivia and Wiles.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, c/o St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 1404 Old Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461, or to Intrepid Hospice, 201 Sigma Dr., Suite 130B, Summerville, SC 29486.
