She was predeceased by: her parents, William Noel Orvin, Sr. and Genneva Judy Orvin; her son Alexander L. Brown; her stepmother Addie Hood Orvin; and her siblings, Myrtie Harris, Vesteen Bunch and William N. Orvin, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, James Brown, Sr. (Diane) of Bonneau and Johnny Brown (Marcia) of Bonneau; her grandchildren, Johnny Brown, Jr., Kellie Brown, James Brown, Jr. (Dawn), David Brown (Jennifer) and Robert Brown (Brandy); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Brown, Hailey Brown, Blake Brown, R. J. Brown, Brooke Brown and Sean Brown; and her great great grandchild Hunter Bennett.
