It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward J. McDonald of Bonneau, South Carolina, born in Machias, Maine, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ron McDonald and Virginia Donaghy McDonald Lamb; his wife Susan Fialkowski McDonald; his children, Ashley D. Judy (Matt) of Moncks Corner, Karen V. Lee of Fleming Island, FL and J. Scott McDonald of Port Orange, FL; and his siblings, Cynthia Archibald of Vass, NC, Tamy McDonald of Vass, NC, Jim McDonald of Raleigh, NC and John McDonald of Raleigh, NC. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Fisher House Charleston, 150 Wentworth St, Charleston, SC 29401.
