Dorothy Dupree Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Dupree of Bonneau, South Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Dixon and Annie Dozier Dixon; her brothers, Guy Otis Dixon, James Dixon, Billy Dixon, Irvin Dixon and Claire Dixon; and her husband Roy Dupree.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Wyndham (Lagree) of Macedonia, Lynette Ackerman (Don) of Macedonia, Mary Jackson (David) of Goose Creek, Donna Powell (Mike) of Bonneau and Bobby Dupree (Sarah) of Adams Run; and her brother Gene Dixon (Ernestine) of Macedonia. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
The family also request anyone who wishes to attend the services for Mrs. Dupree to please use all precautions and wear a mask as they have several members of their family who have compromised immune systems. **DUE TO THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS, IT HAS BEEN RECOMMENDED BY THE GOVERNOR, THE CDC, AND THE PRESIDENT TO LIMIT PUBLIC GATHERINGS.
