She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Townsend and Virginia A. Townsend; her husband Reverend Frank Rhett Sanders, Jr.; her daughter Martha Ernestine Sanders; and her great grandchild Emerson Ann Nix. She is also survived by her children, sons and daughters-in-love, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
